![]() ![]() But once I load the sim or a game, you dont see it. The first hour I had it I could not see passed the curve top and bottom. I tried HDR but really not that bothered. No not at all, edge to edge pin sharpe and HDR 6 is best. Me too (see sig) and the image is pretty but it is old and SDR and MSFS since SU5 seems to be tuned to HDR according to those who have both.Ībout the curved screen and ultrawide ratio, is the cockpit view not distorted at the edges in MSFS ? We are talking about monitors - not about money, right? 48" 4K / 120 Hz / HD10 TV (LG OLED) with G-Sync for MSFS / YT / Movies / TV eg. IMHO - the impression of MSFS on a big screen is intense, way more than on a "small" monitor. Windows internal "Scaled" to 150% - otherwise symbols, txt eg. 31" 4K / 144 Hz / HD10 / 16:9 monitor / G-Sync for Windows and applications, For exemple open 2 A4 documents in original size side by side (I need that a lot). Best FPS and more important - best response time for the latter.Ĭurved monitors - IMHO for work with Windows are not my taste, due to distortion in proportion. Nethertheless - You have to devide between MSFS eg. G-Sync or Adaptive Sync are very nice to have. More important is for what you use your monitor mainly.įor gaming - take what you want in size / resolution / FPS. at 2560*1440 gives you 91 ppi which is generally considered on the low side by reviewersĪ 28 in at 3840×2160 gives you 157 ppi which high, 72.5% sharper. I am considering buying a new monitor when the cards will be cheaper so I find your experience interesting as you don't see the difference.Ī 32 in. ![]()
